welcome to my blog, I hope you have a lovely time here.

Let me brag to you about this wonderful part of country Victoria! About 2 hours west of Melbourne is a bevy of amazing cute country towns, too many to explore! (Im getting there….kinda!!)
This guide allows you to easily explore Cobden, Colac, Camperdown & Forrest - I fully recommend making a weekend of this treasure hunting & forest bathing adventure, 2 nights & 3 days would have you sorted real good.
We based ourselves in Forrest for this adventure staying in the majestic Otways Loft
* see below for info & photos on this amazing accommodation.
Colac, Cobden & Camperdown can easily be explored in one whole day, but if you are like us, and would like to take in the outdoors too, then 2 days, preferably 3 would be the perfect amount of time.
Colac is the biggest of the 3 towns and is a bit of a hub for the area, we got a flat tyre here and the lovely man at Beaurepaires was amazing! Thank you Beaurepaires Colac. There are a loads of awesome op shops here and some really cool vintage stores worth visiting.
My favorite towns though were Cobden & Camperdown 💚
Camperdown has 3 of the sweetest country op shops I ever did see, with a stand out from Sunnyside Op Shop! So so cute and quirky cool. The town has beautiful wide streets and almost gothic looking buildings - very cool to visit indeed.
Cobden is a short 10min drive from Camperdown & is equally as cute! It has the sweetest lake in the center of town - in spring it was mind-blowing, Id imagine in autumn it would be unreal too!
The town is small, but it boasts awesome op shops!! And surrounding the town are a series of volcanic lakes, that are honestly beautiful to see! In summer these lakes would be great fun to picnic at, swim in & kayak around. How amazing!
We stayed in Forrest to explore these 3 towns (Forrest itself is a paradise, Ill link to my guide below) We spent 3 nights staying in the Otways Loft, this is the perfect place to sleep, deep in the forest in Forrest town, and its so central to explore Forrest, Lake Elizabeth & these 3 towns I’m bragging about here.
