Yarraville op shops

I love Yarraville oh so much, its such a special little pocket tucked away on the borders of West Melbourne. Its hip, beautiful, tiny, right on a really quaint train line, cafes galore, trees, parks, its basically perfect and if I had a spare 2 million Id totally buy a house there! hahahaha
Also very close by is the Footscray Savers - I have all the time in the world for Savers when I have time - which is never 😂
Yarraville has 2 op shops on the main strip and 3 more a short drive away. The Christian Orthodox Mission is beautiful! Its like stepping into a time porthole and wandering through a labyrinth of treasure, its a small drive from Yarraville, but if you have a car, worth a poke around.
Missionpoint - my goodness me, its such a lovely wee op shop that has an abundance of treasure!
Green Collective is really awesome, Its not an Op Shop but its good! This little business is a social enterprise with a big heart, all their clothes and shoes are donations (and Ill let you in on a secret - they have amazing stuff!!!) Especially the kids section, wow! Their main hub Green Collect is where most the behind the scenes work is done, they collect corporate office waste and dispose of it properly! Be it recycling it in the most sustainable manner, reusing it or re-purposing for other use 　 Their store also has great sustainable gift-ware if you are looking for something special, they are a not for profit business - they also have programs that give people who may not usually have the chance, to develop practice skills in sustainability, business and social equality. So next time you are in Yarraville - drop in, always friendly staff, and I bet you will find some cracking clothes or shoes!!!
